Emil Hegle Svendsen: “I grew up skiing”

The press conference with the prize winners took place immediately after the race. The gold medal winner, Emil Hegle Svendsen, the Norway biathlete, shared secrets of a successful performance of the Norway team. Evgeniy Ustyugov, Russia (silver medal) and Lukas Hofer, Italy( bronze medal) shared their opinion on the tense race which took place in the last seconds.

German biathlete Magdalena Neuner, the women’s mass-start gold winner, Darya Domracheva (Belarus), the silver medalist, and Tora Berger (Norway), the bronze medalist, told about the fight for the leadership at the conference.

4th medal of the Queen of Championships

The German biathlete Magdalena Neuner has become the winner of the WCH 2011 women’s mass – start. Darya Domracheva of Belarus settled for the silver finishing 5 seconds behind the winner. The third was Tora Berger from Norway.
