E.ON IBU World Cup Biathlon

The act of the Winter Sports Center’s complete readiness for the World Cup Biathlon Final 2012 was signed today, the 15th of March, by Spartak Antonenkov, the World Cup executive director and Franz Berger, the IBU director.
As it is mentioned in the document, the material and technical basis and the equipment ensure the perfect conditions for the biathlon competitions. The stadium, courses, shooting range area, ski waxing areas, media centre, commentary positions, team cabins and other technical areas are completely ready.

The lighting, VIP areas, captain’s meetings rooms, conference hall and media rooms are up to IBU quality.

Besides, the security of the fans, athletes, officials and camera operators will be ensured as well.

It’s to mention that the Winter Sports Center named after A. Filipenko is ready to seat 150 biathletes, 57 coaches, and 163 referees during the competitions.
