Welcoming speech of the Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth policy of the Russian Federation

Author: On behalf of the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation I welcome the participants, organizers and guests of the final stage of the World Cup Biathlon 2011/2012!
Snowy slopes of Khanty-Mansiysk traditionally end a busy season of the official World Cup Biathlon competition. Behind the biathletes there are eight toughest stages of the World Cup. There remains the final milestone: on the hospitable land of Siberia for three days, one of the best biathlon complexes in the world will become the final battle scene of the best shooting skiers of the planet! In intense struggle the competition for the Crystal Globes will end.
I am confident that uncompromising struggle on the track and shooting range will surely impress everyone from the many millions of biathlon fans!
I wish the participants of the Biathlon World Cup Final in Khanty-Mansiysk good results, accurate shooting and joy from the deserved victories, and an unforgettable impression from the competitions of the best biathlon masters!
