“Ice” sculptors turned the center of Khanty-Mansyisk into a work of art.
“Festival Ugra” is a project created by the Autonomous Institution of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug “Art group “Culture”.
One of the most interesting events of the project “Festival Ugra” became an ice sculpture contest “Paintings and Ice”, which was solemnly open on the New Year- 2012 Eve.
Professional ice carvers, artists and sculptors from all the regions of Russia came to Khanty-Mansyisk to show their skills to the residents and the guests of the city.
Their work resulted in ice sculptures on the topic “Theater and Music”. These sculptures are the real masterpieces, which decorate now the Central Square of Khanty-Mansyisk.
